Kevin Paul Kelly is Principal and Owner of Kevin Paul Kelly & Associates,  Mr. Kelly received his law degree in 1980 from Wayne State University Law School and practiced law in the Detroit area before moving to Traverse City in 1981. Mr. Kelly's law practice specialized in taxation, estate planning, trusts, wills and business law. Mr. Kelly has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan since 1980, and a member of both the Estate Planning Section of the State Bar as well as the Estate Planning Council of Northern Michigan. 

In 1981 Mr. Kelly expanded his business to include financial planning for individuals. Mr. Kelly became a Certified Financial Planner, in 1983. Mr. Kelly became a Registered Principal and Investment Advisor Representative with Financial West Group (member FINRA and SIPC).

Mr. Kelly oversees the management of over $100,000,000 of client assets with over 400 clients throughout the United States. Mr. Kelly has taught courses on estate planning, investing, mutual funds and financial planning at Northwestern Michigan College since 1984. Mr. Kelly has spoken to numerous groups, including the American Medical Association and the State Bar of Michigan, and has given numerous seminars and workshops on financial planning and related topics.

Kristi Avery: Registered Principal / Branch Coordinator 

Kristi Avery is a Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Registered Principal and Investment Advisor Representative, as well as a licensed Life and Health Insurance agent. Kristi has been with Kevin Paul Kelly & Associates since the fall of 2004. 

She is a 2000 Honors Graduate of Brethren High School of Brethren, MI. Kristi attended Northwestern Michigan College from 2000-2003, graduating with dual Associates degrees in Arts and Health and Sciences, with a focus on Business and Marketing. In 2003, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ferris State University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration and certificate degrees in International Business and Human Resources Management. 

Kristi has a focus on Sustainable, Responsible and Impact Investments that provide investors the ability to monitor their investment’s Environmental, Social and Governance factors.
